INITIAL APPOINTMENT CONSULTATION
£35
An initial consultation is required to assess your presenting problem and determine the most appropriate treatment plan. This appointment may include treatment such as nail care, reduction of hard skin or corns, and general foot care as required.
A full assessment will be carried out, and treatment can usually be provided within the same appointment where clinically appropriate. If further or alternative treatment options are recommended (including procedures such as nail surgery), these will be fully discussed with you before any additional treatment is carried out.
INGROWN TOENAIL TREATMENT
£35 (standard treatment)
£65 (if local anaesthetic is required)
This appointment is for conservative (non-surgical) treatment of an ingrown toenail. This may include trimming, thinning, or removing a small offending nail spike causing discomfort.
If the nail is too painful or sensitive to treat comfortably, a local anaesthetic injection may be required, increasing the appointment cost to £65.
Important:
This treatment does not include nail surgery (partial or total nail removal with chemical cauterisation).
If nail surgery is clinically required, this will be discussed with you and booked as a separate procedure with different fees.

NAIL SURGERY
(Also known as partial or total nail avulsion surgery for ingrown toenails)
Starting from £360
Nail surgery is a minor surgical procedure performed under local anaesthetic to remove either part of the nail (partial avulsion) or the entire nail (total avulsion).
This procedure is different from routine ingrown toenail treatment. It is typically recommended when conservative care is not sufficient, or when the problem is recurrent, severe, or persistently infected.
Benefits of Nail Surgery
-
Long-term or permanent relief from pain
-
Reduces the likelihood of recurring infection
-
High success rates (typically 96–99% with no regrowth of the treated nail portion)
-
Quick procedure with minimal time off work
-
No need for GP or hospital referral
When is Nail Surgery needed?
Nail surgery may be recommended if you have:
-
A recurrent ingrown toenail
-
Severe or ongoing pain
-
Persistent infection
-
A nail that has not improved with conservative treatment
Ingrown toenails most commonly affect the big toe but can occur in any toenail.

MUSCULOSKELETAL / BIOMECHANICAL ASSESSMENT
Starting from £75
A musculoskeletal / biomechanical assessment is carried out to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including:
-
Plantar fasciitis (heel pain)
-
Tendon pain (tendinopathy)
-
Painful bunions
-
Morton’s neuroma
-
Metatarsalgia (forefoot pain)
-
General foot, muscle, or joint pain
During the assessment, joint movement, muscle strength and flexibility, and any compensatory patterns are evaluated. Your posture and the way you stand and walk (gait) will also be assessed, with particular attention to how the foot contacts the ground throughout the gait cycle.
This assessment can also be helpful for patients experiencing knee, hip, back, calf, ankle, or foot pain, particularly where the cause is unclear. It is often the first step in identifying the underlying issue, guiding treatment, and determining whether further investigations or referrals are required.

ORTHOTIC PROVISION
NON-CASTED PRICE PROVIDED FOLLOWING CONSULTATION / CASTED
£280
Orthotics (insoles) can be prescribed to help manage a range of lower limb, foot, and back conditions, including:
-
Plantar heel pain
-
Flat feet / reduced arch posture
-
Foot arthritis
-
Morton’s neuroma
-
Bunions
-
Limb length difference
-
Corns and callus
-
Hallux limitus
-
Tendon pain (tendinopathy)
Following a musculoskeletal / biomechanical assessment, orthotics may be recommended as part of your treatment plan. These can be either bespoke (custom-made) or prefabricated (off-the-shelf), depending on your clinical needs.
The type of orthotic prescribed will depend on your diagnosis, foot function, and treatment goals, and this will be fully discussed with you before proceeding.

Injection Therapy (Corticosteroid & Hyaluronic Acid)
£180
Injection therapy can be an effective option for reducing pain and improving function in a range of foot and lower limb conditions, including:
-
Plantar heel pain (plantar fasciitis)
-
Arthritis affecting the foot and ankle
-
Tendon pain (tendinopathy)
-
Bursitis and joint inflammation
-
Morton’s neuroma
-
Pain associated with bunions
Depending on your condition, we may use either corticosteroid injections to settle inflammation and provide pain relief, or hyaluronic acid injections to support joint lubrication and movement. The most appropriate treatment will be selected based on a thorough clinical assessment.
Your care will always begin with a detailed musculoskeletal (MSK) assessment. If injection therapy is recommended, this will be discussed fully with you, including expected outcomes, potential risks, and alternative treatment options. A dedicated injection appointment will then be arranged.
Injection therapy is typically used alongside other treatments—such as orthotics, footwear advice, or rehabilitation—to achieve the best possible long-term results
